PSU shines at TEECA conference

As well as giving a professional presentation to educators from the U.S. and abroad, the group of 14 students competed in the National Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association (TEECA) competitions.

The Pitt State TEECA chapter earned the Outstanding Chapter Award, an award given to only one university nationwide. The group also performed well in a variety of competitions.

Pitt State finished first in the Transportation Challenge, second place in Live Manufacturing and Communications, third place in Educational Display and fourth place in the Technology Challenge Quiz Bowl.

"I am very proud of what these 14 students accomplished against other universities from across the United States,” said Andy Klenke, associate professor in Technology and Workforce Learning. “It really indicates the quality of students we have at Pittsburg State University. Their performance is a direct reflection on PSU and the Technology and Engineering Education program. I am glad to see they are being recognized for their outstanding performance".
