Group plans outdoor fun for persons of all abilities

Students majoring in therapeutic recreation at Pittsburg State University are planning some free outdoor fun and activities for persons of all abilities on Saturday, April 29.

The TR-iffic Field Day will take place from 10 a.m. until noon on the practice field at Ford and Homer Streets in Pittsburg.

Laura Covert, an assistant professor in the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation, said the students are planning a wide variety of outdoor games and activities that will be appropriate for persons of all ability levels.
