Alumni office launches new web show

“It would be such a thrill to have the time and resources to meet with all of our alumni face-to-face,” said Bartlow, director of PSU’s Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations. “But I think we all understand why that’s just not possible.”

However, through a new online video series launching this week, Bartlow will be able to digitally reach out to all Gorillas around the world.

Beginning Wednesday, March 29, Bartlow will host a monthly web-based show called “Pitt Pulse.” The purpose of the show is to give PSU alumni around the world an inside look at what’s happening at their alma mater.

“Our new Pitt Pulse web show will be an opportunity for our office to share highlights and interviews from campus leaders, faculty, and students about the many exciting things going on at the university,” Bartlow said. “This will give us a chance to connect with our alumni like never before.”

The live show will debut at 3 p.m. Wednesday on pittstate.tv. The first guest will be Shawn Naccarato, Pitt State's executive director of the Center for Business and Innovation Development, who will discuss the new Block22 project in downtown Pittsburg.
